The USB Werk is a small electrical substation that is used to charge electrical devices (mobile phones, GPS and similar) from a dynamo, using a USB charging port.

The USB Werk provides a constant output current of 5W and up to 500 mA.

It has a small internal battery, or capacitor, capable of accumulating a small amount of energy. This prevents charging of a device from being interrupted during short stops or fluctuations in the charging voltage.

Thus, the charge remains constant in voltage and without interruptions while the bicycle is in motion.

It can be used simultaneously with the light on.
