AZUB TriCon 26
The TriCon 26 is based on the TriCon 20, in production since 2010. The 26” rear wheel provides great comfort, higher rear derailleur height and slightly lower rolling resistance.
On the other hand, on a trike a larger rear wheel produces greater stresses on the rear fork and by extension on the rest of the frame. Often a 26” rear wheel on a trike produces some torque. Azub has done a lot of research to try to reduce this effect and the TriCon 26 is living proof of this.
The rear fork has been designed with greater width, removable arms and a solid Syntace X-12 axle with 157 mm wide hubs, which give the wheel greater solidity.
The rear suspension has also been redesigned, so we're not just talking about a TriCon 20 with a longer fork, but a completely new trike.
