(incomplete article; under construction in the next few days)

On October 13 and 14, 2023, we will celebrate our traditional Iberia Recumbent Cyclists Gathering in Pamplona, which from now on we will call 3ike Ride (shorter and prettier) :-)

We have chosen Pamplona for this edition due to the recent inauguration of the work ' Ten Bicycles ', a set of 10 full-scale steel replicas of bicycles of different types, created by our friend and also recumbent cyclist Jesús Sukuntza . This work, created with great care and detail, has been installed in a permanent, open-air exhibition on Carlos III el Noble Avenue, and has been donated by Jesús Sukuntza to the city of Pamplona in a completely selfless manner.

The celebration of the 3ike Ride 2023 in Pamplona responds to the desire to honor our friend, who has dedicated many years of his life to the promotion of the bicycle and for us it is a reason to celebrate that his work, which we have known for years , has finally been offered to the Pamplonicas in a permanent exhibition. And, of course, a recumbent bicycle could not be missing from this exhibition.

Saturday 14th plan

IMPORTANT:

- The routes are easy level, with a daily mileage of approximately 30 km.

- We will circulate respecting at all times the traffic regulations and the regulations that affect bicycle circulation. Each person is responsible for their own circulation.

- It is necessary to wear a helmet . Minors under 16 years of age must wear a helmet under all circumstances; those of legal age, only on intercity routes. We will travel some sections along secondary roads, so it will be necessary for us all to wear helmets on these sections.

- Each participant must have their bicycle in condition to circulate without problem, and it is recommended that each one have their tool kit and some spare parts.

- At the lunch stop, two alternatives will be offered: eating at a restaurant or having a picnic. Everyone can choose the option they prefer, but we will establish the location of the restaurant and the outdoor eating area in advance, to avoid dispersing.
